The Beauty of Realigning Your Purpose
There comes a moment—sometimes subtle, sometimes loud—when something inside whispers, "This no longer fits."
For a long time, I’ve coached adoptees, and that work has been deeply meaningful. I’ve cried with my clients, celebrated breakthroughs, and sat with them in the dark spaces. I’ve walked the road of identity, grief, healing, and hope, and it has been a sacred journey.
But lately… something’s been shifting.
I started noticing a quiet nudge. A pull toward something more, something different. At first, I brushed it off. “This is what I do,” I told myself. “This is who I serve.” But that nagging feeling didn’t go away. If anything, it got louder.
And then I realized the truth: I was growing. Evolving. And the version of me that started this journey isn’t the same woman I am today.
When What You’ve Built No Longer Aligns
It’s not easy to admit when something you’ve poured your heart into no longer aligns with your soul. There’s a lot of guilt, second-guessing, and fear. What if people think I’m abandoning my roots? What if I lose the community I’ve built?
But deep down, I knew this was about expansion, not abandonment.
As I’ve grown, my heart has been drawn to women like me—women who are navigating big life changes. Women over 40 who feel like their story is shifting, and they’re not sure who they are anymore. Women whose kids are grown, who’ve spent years taking care of others, and are now left wondering: What about me?
I see these women. I am these women.
They are craving clarity, confidence, and a new chapter. They want to feel alive again, lit up by purpose and possibility. And I realized—I can help guide them, because I’m walking this path too.
Change is Scary—But Staying Stuck Is Scarier
Let me be real: change is uncomfortable. It stirs up all kinds of questions and fears. And when you're known for something, stepping away from that identity can feel like losing your place in the world.
But what I’ve learned through my own healing work—and through guiding others—is this:
“When something no longer aligns, it’s not a failure. It’s a redirection.”
It’s your soul saying, You’ve outgrown this. There’s something more.
And when we listen, when we’re brave enough to step into the unknown, what emerges can be more beautiful than we ever imagined.
The Next Chapter
So, I’m shifting who I coach.
I’m still honoring my adoptee roots—I always will. That part of my story shaped who I am. But I’m opening the door wider now.
I’m here for the women over 40 who are ready to reinvent themselves.
The ones who feel lost or stuck.
The ones who have a fire deep down but don’t know how to reignite it.
The ones who want their next chapter to be bold, meaningful, and unapologetically theirs.
The ones who what that spark back in their marriage.
This is the work that lights me up now.
This is where my energy feels aligned.
This is the season I’m stepping into—with honesty, intention, and a whole lot of heart.
